Jeremy Lin Planning To Sign Offer Sheet With The Rockets
It has been announced that Knicks player, Jeremy Lin has agreed to sign a four year offer to play for the Houston Rockets on July 11th. According to a source “The Rockets were planning to offer Lin a backloaded deal worth roughly $30 million. The deal would pay Lin $5 million in the first season, $5.2 million in the second, and then would increase to as much as $10 million per year in the third and fourth seasons.” According to another source, the Rockets in fact had Lin in training camp last season but waived him due to the circumstances that the Rockets already had two other players (Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic) on their roster. Due to the fact Lowry was traded to the Toronto Raptors and Dragic was traded to the Phoenix Suns, Houston is trying to get Lin on the team.
